Tilt Switches

Tilt switches are instruments that can detect orientation or inclination. They are digital sensors which only turn on/off by tilting to one side and the other. As Adafruit stated, tilt switches are “poorman's accelerometer”, meaning they are inexpensive, small, low-power, and easy-to-use.
